creative this is what minecraft start out as, pelrnoasly i play minecraft for both the creative side of the game and the exploration and adventure survival, just depends on what i choose to do. there are other minecraftish games that have enemies that rap you right off the bat. so i think going from creative to survival is a good plan. but until it gets a good bit more features or something i'm sticking with lite, as of now not worth the pricetag, but i have no doubt it will be in time.
